The Business Cruise: Our Annual Female Founders Retreat & Strategy Summit
Summit Concept & Vision
First launched in 2021, The Business Cruise is SheThrives Africa's flagship annual strategy retreat. It gathers female founders, corporate professionals, and startup mentors for a weekend of intense business mapping, financial planning workshops, and community building.
Rather than general theory, the retreat is structured as an interactive design sprint. Every attendee works with a business coach to audit their current financials, design a 12-month operational map, and refine their marketing strategy.
What to Expect
Participants engage in peer roundtables, personal branding photography sessions, and 1-on-1 legal audits. The atmosphere is designed to build trust and long-term partnerships, enabling women to share their actual struggles and build collaborative solutions.
Our next Business Cruise is scheduled to take place at the Afrikiko River Front Resort in Akosombo. Registration is open to all SheThrives alumni and general community members.
